The last time I called a Perfect Duluth Beach Wednesday the weather immediately turned crappy. Well, I don't quit easy.
Let's go to Park Point after work. Bring your concealed alcohol and your polka-dot singlet, bring your kites and water balloons, bring your Frisbees, portable grills and boom-boxes. Arrive at 5:30ish, or whenever you can make it. If it takes you an hour to bike there and you'll be late, so be it. If you get off work early, start building a sand castle and wait for someone to arrive and occupy it with you.
The meeting point will be ... oh ... somewhere around the Beach House at the end of Minnesota Avenue. See you there.
